Music to Soothe the Savage Beast
Pink Floyd Pink Floyd was started by three architecture students; Roger Waters, Rick Wright, and Nick Mason. In the beginning the name of the band was Sigma 6, since then they have called themselves The T-Set, The Mega- deaths, The Architectural Abdabs and The Screaming Abdabs. At this time the band was playing R&B. Then Roger"Syd" Barrett and Dave Gilmour arrived. Syd introduced the others to his friend LSD and the rest is history. Pink Floyd is my favorite band. |
"Her love rains down on me easy as a
breeze I listen to her breathing it sounds like the waves on the sea I was thinking all about her, burning with rage and desire we were spinning into darkness; the earth was on fire" -Take it Back |
Insane Clown Posse I got a sampler CD with an ICP song on it and when I listened to it the lyrics were great, the song was Halls of Illusions from The Great Milenko. Now I have two CDs and want more. There will be six faces of the Dark Carnival. After all six have risen, the end will consume us all. |
"Fuck skin color, everybody's blue.
Then what would all those biggots do?" -Everybody Rize |
Squirrel Nut Zippers I'm not sure what to say, I just like the music. I have always liked 1920s music, style and gangsters. I've had a fedora since I was 9 or 10. |
"Well, I've got a friend Who lives across town every year when Christmas rolls around he gives me my Christmas present in a paper sack Two hours later he wants it back" -Indian Giver |
The Rattle Cats This is a band based in Brattleboro Vermont that my friend William is in. They play their own style of music; William writes the lyrics and the music. The Rattle Cats mostly play at the Common Ground in Brattleboro, but they have played a couple parties at my house. Check here to see when and where they are playing next. |
"Nintey one at a hundred and five, three hundred and seventy five horsepower, baby" -91 at 105 |
