The Wizard of Oz
Dark Side of the Moon
The Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon have been a stoner staple for years. The deal is this, if you didn't know: if you begin playing "Dark Side of the Moon" right after the third lion's roar in the Metro Goldwyn-Mayer intro to the film. Uncanny coincidences between the music and movie occur... such as "Time" starting as soon as the witch comes onto the screen, "Breathe" working perfectly as a backdrop to Dorothy in Kansas, and "Money" kicking in just as Dorothy opens the door on technicolor.
This stuff is very eerie, I tell you. I've seen it a few times, and it never fails to impress me. However, when stoning, it's just not as good. You don't notice the coincidences as much- and besides, the film and album are both better on their own if you're stoning. My recommendation is to give it a try, but it didn't work for me. It's much better while straight.

Watch it while sober.
